Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Elks now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Holbrook for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 22. Round Valley will battle a Roadrunners squad coming off a 14-4 league loss to Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Roadrunners record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Valley falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Many Farms (Many Farms, AZ) to battle the Lobos in a 2A North challenge on Tuesday, April 2. The Lobos enter the challenge with a record of 1-3.
