The Asheville Christian Academy Lions (Swannanoa, NC) baseball trounced the host Lakeway Christian Academy Lions (Morristown, TN), 18-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rabun Gap-Nacoochee for a NCISAA 4A challenge on Wednesday, March 26. Asheville Christian Academy will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.

With the defeat, Lakeway Christian Academy drops to 11-3 on the year. The Lions host Concord Christian (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Lions in a D II-A East 1 challenge on Monday, March 24. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Concord Christian lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Paxon School For Advanced Studies (Jacksonville, FL)
