De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Booker T. Washington Lions (New Orleans, LA), 17-0 in a league match.
With the triumph, De La Salle advances its record to 10-10 on the season. The Cavalier travel to Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA) to battle the Rebels in a non-league match on Saturday, March 22. The Rebels come into the match with a record of 15-8. Riverside Academy lost 5-1 in their recent non-league match against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA)
The Lions now have a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Landry for a 3A District 10 match on Wednesday, March 26.
