The Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Varsity Opponent to 4 in the Crusaders non-league win on Friday.

The Crusaders now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Asheboro Hybrid Academy for a test on Monday, March 24. Cornerstone Christian Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Gospel Light Christian (Walkertown, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-4.

With the defeat, Varsity Opponent drops to 20-73 on the year. The travel to King (Kingsville, TX) to play the Brahmas in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Brahmas go into the test with a record of 1-12. King lost 11-1 in their recent non-league test against John Paul II (Corpus Christi, TX)
