In Friday's non-league bout, the Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), by a tally of 12-1.
Next up, the Islanders encounter the Bonita Vista Barons (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Coronado will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Barons enter the bout with a 2-5 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to St. Augustine (San Diego, CA).
The Aztecs (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Scripps Ranch (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Scripps Ranch was overwhelmed by Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA), 7-1, in a non-league bout.
