Danville Admirals (Danville, KY) followers left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Somerset Briar Jumpers (Somerset, KY), 5-4 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Danville moves its record to 4-1 on the season. The Admirals travel to Barbourville (Barbourville, KY) to battle the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, March 22. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 1-1. Barbourville won 13-9 in their recent non-league match against Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY)

The Briar Jumpers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne County for a non-league match on Monday, March 24. Somerset will battle a Cardinals squad coming off a 18-8 non-league win over Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.
