The Forest Grove Vikings (Forest Grove, OR) baseball trounced the visiting La Junta Tigers (La Junta, CO), 13-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crismon for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. Forest Grove will clash with a Rattlers team coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Dysart (El Mirage, AZ). The Rattlers record now stands at 6-2.
With the defeat, La Junta drops to 1-4 on the year. The Tigers travel to Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ) to clash with the Monsoon in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. The Monsoon go into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Valley Vista won 13-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Camelback (Phoenix, AZ)
