The Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD) baseball trounced the host Kennedy Cavaliers (Silver Spring, MD), 17-6 in Friday's league challenge.

The Screamin' Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Damascus for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. Seneca Valley will clash with a Hornets team coming off a 9-6 non-league win over Northwest (Germantown, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Kennedy drops to 0-1 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Watkins Mill (Gaithersburg, MD) to clash with the Wolverines in a Montgomery County 3A/2A challenge on Monday, March 24. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
