The Kennedy Cougars baseball team scored 19 runs and held the host Wright to 13 in the Cougars league win on Friday.

The Cougars now hold a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ecole Classique for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Kennedy will play a Spartans team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Wright drops to 1-5 on the year. The host Morris Jeff (New Orleans, LA) to play the Pelicans in a 3A District 10 test on Monday, March 24. The Pelicans go into the test with a record of 1-4.
