The Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Mustangs (Waukomis, OK) baseball trounced the visiting Laverne Tigers (Laverne, OK), 7-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hennessey for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. Pioneer-Pleasant Vale will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 12-11 non-league win over Hydro-Eakly (Hydro, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 4-7.
With the defeat, Laverne drops to 2-3 on the year. The Tigers host Perry (Perry, OK) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Maroons go into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Perry lost 11-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Idabel (Idabel, OK)
