The Whittier Christian Heralds (La Habra, CA) baseball trounced the host Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA), 8-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Heralds now own a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Excelsior Charter for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. Whittier Christian will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Victor Valley Christian (Victorville, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-8.
With the defeat, Marshall drops to 1-6 on the year. The Barristers host Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA) to clash with the Dons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 22. The Dons go into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Verdugo Hills lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA)
