The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO) and the host Mehlville Panthers (St. Louis, MO), saw Vianney's baseball team gain a win over Mehlville by a tally of 16-1.

The Golden Griffins (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest (Cedar Hill, MO). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Northwest was overwhelmed by Mehlville (St. Louis, MO), 8-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Webster Groves Statesmen (Webster Groves, MO) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 22. Mehlville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Statesmen enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Vianney (Kirkwood, MO).
