The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting North Clay/Clay City to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.
The Spartans now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Anthony for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. St. Joseph-Ogden will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-3 non-league win over Richland County (Olney, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
With the defeat, North Clay/Clay City drops to 2-2 on the year. The travel to Marissa/Coulterville (Marissa, IL) to play the Meteors in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Meteors go into the test with a record of 0-0.
