The Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA) baseball trounced the visiting Sheldon Huskies (Sacramento, CA), 10-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to River City for a Monticello Empire League challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Rodriguez will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 6-5 league loss to Wood (Vacaville, CA). The Raiders record now stands at 9-4.

With the defeat, Sheldon drops to 3-4 on the year. The Huskies host Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA) to clash with the Wolfpack in a Delta League challenge on Monday, March 24. The Wolfpack go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Cosumnes Oaks won 21-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Kennedy (Sacramento, CA)
