Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) and the host El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA), observed Poly's volleyball team top El Dorado by a count of 2-0.

The Bears (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA). The Knights come into the non-league bout with a 9-6 record. In their last bout, Ontario Christian was topped by Loma Linda Academy (Loma Linda, CA), 3-0, in a league bout.

With the loss, El Dorado drops to 7-15 on the campaign. The Golden hawks host Valencia (Placentia, CA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, March 24. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 13-3. Valencia won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA)
