In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Imperial Tigers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Gompers Prep Academy Eagles.
The Tigers (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Chula Vista (Chula Vista, CA). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Chula Vista was beaten by Hilltop (Chula Vista, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Horizon Prep Lions (Rancho Santa Fe, CA) in a Pioneer challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Gompers Prep Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Chula Vista Learning Community Charter (San Diego, CA).
