The George C. Marshall Statesmen lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Annandale Atoms to 2 in the Statesmen non-league triumph on Friday.

The Statesmen now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Washington-Liberty for a Liberty challenge on Thursday, April 3.

With the loss, Annandale falls to 0-1 on the year. The Atoms host South Lakes (Reston, VA) to clash with the Seahawks in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 28. The Seahawks go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. South Lakes won 15-9 in their recent non-league challenge against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA)
