In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Apex Cougars lacrosse squad scored a good 17-3 triumph over the Broughton Capitals.

The Cougars (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Mustangs go into the Southwest Wake challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Middle Creek knocked off Cary (Cary, NC), 22-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Capitals clash with the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 24. Broughton will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Patriots go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 14-4 league loss to Apex (Apex, NC).
