The University Hawks lacrosse squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Greater Latrobe Wildcats to 3 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martinsburg for a WVSLA - Division I challenge on Saturday, March 22. University will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Greater Latrobe falls to 1-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA) to clash with the Big Macs in a challenge on Monday, March 24. The Big Macs go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Canon-McMillan lost 14-7 in their recent non-league challenge against South Fayette (McDonald, PA)
