The Lely Trojans lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Palmetto Ridge Bears to 1 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Myers for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Lely will clash with a Green Wave squad coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Estero (Estero, FL). The Green Wave record now stands at 8-1.
With the loss, Palmetto Ridge falls to 1-6 on the year. The Bears host Cape Coral (Cape Coral, FL) to clash with the Seahawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 24. The Seahawks go into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Cape Coral won 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Gateway (Fort Myers, FL)
