In Friday's league challenge, the host Sandburg Eagles lacrosse squad scored a good 18-4 triumph over the Minooka Indians.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters go into the Southwestern challenge with a 2-1 record.
Next, the Indians clash with the York Dukes (Elmhurst, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 22. Minooka will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Dukes go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 17-6 non-league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL).
