The Riverbend Bears triumphed over the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets lacrosse team by a tally of 16-5 in Friday's non-league match.
Next up, the Bears confront the North Stafford Wolverines (Stafford, VA) in a Commonwealth match, on Tuesday, April 1. Riverbend will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Wolverines enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 20-10 non-league loss to James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA).
The Fighting Hornets (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights enter the Jefferson match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Charlottesville was overwhelmed by Glass (Lynchburg, VA), 26-7, in a non-league challenge.
