Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the First Baptist School Hurricanes (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Southside Christian Sabres (Simpsonville, SC), saw First Baptist School's soccer squad hold off Southside Christian by a count of 3-2.

The Hurricanes (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hilton Head Christian Academy (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Eagles enter the SCISA AAA Region II battle with a 5-6 record.

Next up, the Sabres confront the Palmetto Mustangs (Williamston, SC) in a AAA Region 2 battle, on Monday, March 24. Southside Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Belton-Honea Path (Honea Path, SC).
