The Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) baseball trounced the host Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA), 28-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln for a challenge on Wednesday, March 26. Bear River will clash with a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 11-5 league loss to Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 4-4.
