In Friday's non-league game, the host Decatur Seahawks baseball team scored a close 11-6 win over the North Caroline Bulldogs.
The Seahawks (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Queen Anne's County (Centreville, MD). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Queen Anne's County nudged Easton (Easton, MD), 15-2, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Bennett Clippers (Salisbury, MD) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 24. North Caroline will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Clippers go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Mardela (Mardela Springs, MD).
