The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) and the host Lower Lake Trojans (Lower Lake, CA), saw East Nicolaus's baseball team gain a win over Lower Lake by a tally of 13-2.

The Spartans (3-6) will now prepare for their battle against Wheatland (Wheatland, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Wheatland was overwhelmed by Center (Antelope, CA), 10-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Trojans face the Kelseyville Knights (Kelseyville, CA) in a battle, on Saturday, March 29. Lower Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Woodland Christian (Woodland, CA).
