North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Broughton overwhelms Hoggard

The Broughton Capitals lacrosse squad scored 11 points and limited the host Hoggard Vikings to 3 in the Capitals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Capitals now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Croatan for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Broughton will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 18-4 non-league win over Leesville Road (Raleigh, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Hoggard falls to 5-1 on the year. The Vikings host West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a Mideastern challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. West Brunswick lost 20-1 in their recent league challenge against Ashley (Wilmington, NC)
