The Croatan Cougars lacrosse squad scored 18 points and limited the host Leesville Road Pride to 4 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Broughton for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 25. Croatan will clash with a Capitals squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Capitals record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Leesville Road falls to 3-4 on the year. The Pride travel to Cardinal Gibbons (Raleigh, NC) to clash with the Crusaders in a CAP 6 challenge on Tuesday, March 25. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Cardinal Gibbons won 9-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC)
