Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting South Carroll Cavaliers (Sykesville, MD), 17-7 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Linganore improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lancers host Brunswick (Brunswick, MD) to play the Railroaders in a CMC game on Tuesday, March 25. The Railroaders come into the game with a record of 0-0.

The Cavaliers now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Towson for a non-league game on Monday, March 24.
