New Oxford Colonials (New Oxford, PA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA), 19-10 in a league game.

With the victory, New Oxford improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Colonials travel to West York Area (York, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a York Area 1 game on Thursday, March 27. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 0-2.

The Lions now have a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York Suburban for a York Area 1 game on Tuesday, March 25. Red Lion will play a Trojans team coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Exeter Township (Reading, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-3.
