In Friday's non-league challenge, the host St. Ignatius Wildcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-4 triumph over the North Allegheny Tigers.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against John Carroll (Bel Air, MD). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. North Allegheny will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Rams go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA).
