Fans at Friday's league battle between the Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA) and the host Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs (Winder, GA), saw Habersham Central's soccer squad hold off Winder-Barrow by a score of 2-1.

The Raiders (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Titans enter the non-league battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, North Oconee tipped Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Bulldoggs confront the Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA) in a 5A Area 8 battle, on Tuesday, March 25. Winder-Barrow will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 2-6 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Salem (Conyers, GA).
