The Mineola Yellowjackets soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Pittsburg Pirates to 2 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Henderson for a non-league bout on Monday, March 24. Mineola will play a Lions squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Crockett (Crockett, TX). The Lions record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Pittsburg moves to 16-5 on the year.
