The Albuquerque Academy Chargers the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes softball squad by a count of 15-13 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers play the Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 21. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Broncos enter the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM).
The Elks/Elkettes (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Miyamura edged Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 16-1, in a non-league challenge.
