The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the LaVergne Wolverines (LaVergne, TN) and the visiting Antioch Bears (Antioch, TN), observed LaVergne's softball team prevail over Antioch by a tally of 12-0.

The Wolverines (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Smyrna (Smyrna, TN). The Bulldogs go into the 4A District 7 bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Smyrna knocked off Lebanon (Lebanon, TN), 9-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Cane Ridge Ravens (Nashville, TN) in a 4A District 11 bout, on Tuesday, March 25. Antioch will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Ravens go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 18-3 non-league win over Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet (Nashville, TN).
