Louisiana High School Softball - St. John bounces Ascension Christian

In Friday's league match, the visiting St. John Eagles softball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Ascension Christian .
The Eagles (15-2) will now prepare for their match against Ascension Catholic (Donaldsonville, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 1A District 8 match with a 15-4 record. In their last match, Ascension Catholic was routed by Riverside Academy (Reserve, LA), 6-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the battle the Hanson Memorial Tigers (Franklin, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 22. Ascension Christian will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Tigers come into the match with a 4-8 record after their 13-11 league win over Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA).
