The Bethel Park Black Hawks (Bethel Park, PA) softball nipped the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA), 18-17 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Black Hawks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peters Township for a WPIAL 5A 4 outing on Monday, March 31.

With the loss, Sharpsville moves to 1-2 on the season. The Blue devils travel to South Fayette (McDonald, PA) to encounter the Lions in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 22. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 1-2. South Fayette lost 9-6 in their recent non-league outing against Beaver (Beaver, PA)
