California High School Softball - CORE Butte succumbs to Mt. Shasta

In Friday's non-league test, the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA), by a tally of 14-1.

Next, the Bears meet the Plumas Charter Warriors (Greenville, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 21. Mt. Shasta will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Warriors go into the test with a 1-2 record after their 9-6 non-league win over Weed (Weed, CA).

The Lynx (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Portola (Portola, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Portola beat Wooster (Reno, NV), 19-0, in a non-league outing.
