The Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) softball routed the visiting Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), 8-1 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Maroons now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ballard for a non-league outing on Saturday, March 22. Pulaski County will encounter a Bruins team coming off a 10-3 non-league win over South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Bruins record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Estill County moves to 0-2 on the season. The Engineers travel to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to encounter the Colts in a non-league outing on Saturday, March 22.
