In Friday's non-league test, the Farmington Scorpions (Farmington, NM) softball squad overwhelmed the host Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), by a tally of 17-0.
Next, the Scorpions clash with the Aztec Tigers (Aztec, NM) in a non-league test, on Saturday, March 22. Farmington will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 1-7 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Silver (Silver City, NM).
The Jaguars (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Bloomfield prevailed over Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM), 14-9, in a non-league test.
