The Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY) softball routed the visiting Glasgow Scotties (Glasgow, KY), 10-2 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Hornets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren Central for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 25.

With the loss, Glasgow moves to 0-4 on the season. The Scotties travel to Clinton County (Albany, KY) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Monday, March 24. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Clinton County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against North Laurel (London, KY)
