The Holy Redeemer Royals softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Scranton Prep Cavaliers to 2 in the Royals non-league win on Friday.

The Royals now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley View for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 25. Holy Redeemer will confront a Cougars team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Parkland (Allentown, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Scranton Prep moves to 1-2 on the season. The Cavaliers host Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. The Hornets come into the battle with a record of 0-0.
