South Carolina High School Softball - James Island tipped by Lucy Beckham

Lucy Beckham Bengals (Mt. Pleasant, SC) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC), 6-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Lucy Beckham improves its record to 7-4 on the year. The Bengals host Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC) to play the Stags in a AAAAA Region 7 game on Monday, March 24. The Stags enter the game with a record of 7-2. Berkeley won 11-1 in their recent non-league game against Oceanside Collegiate Academy (Mt. Pleasant, SC)

The Trojans now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Ashley for a non-league game on Wednesday, March 26.
