California High School Softball - La Mirada edges La Habra

In Friday's non-league match, the host La Mirada Matadores softball team scored a tight 4-2 win over the La Habra Highlanders.
The Matadores (11-3) will now prepare for their match against Downey (Downey, CA). The Vikings come into the Gateway match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Downey by Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA), 8-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Highlanders battle the El Dorado Golden Hawks (Placentia, CA) in a Freeway match, on Tuesday, March 25. La Habra will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the match with a 11-5 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Covina (Covina, CA).
