Pennsylvania High School Softball - Mohawk Area bounces Mars

March 21, 2025: Bessemer, PA 16112

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA) and the visiting Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA), observed Mohawk Area's softball team prevail over Mars by a tally of 12-2.

The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Laurel (New Castle, PA). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Laurel knocked off New Castle (New Castle, PA), 14-10, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Fightin' Planets battle the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 24. Mars will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Montour (McKees Rocks, PA).
