The Minooka Indians triumphed over the visiting Sandburg Eagles softball squad by a count of 12-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Indians play the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, March 25. Minooka will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Ironmen enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 8-7 non-league loss to Rochester (Rochester, IL).
The Eagles (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Downers Grove South was routed by Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL), 10-2, in a non-league challenge.
