The Wetumpka Indians triumphed over the host Munford Lions softball squad by a count of 7-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians play the North Sand Mountain Bison (Higdon, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, March 22. Wetumpka will attempt to upgrade on its 29-4 season record. The Bison enter the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 10-8 non-league win over Sylvania (Sylvania, AL).

The Lions (16-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West End (Walnut Grove, AL). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 10-3 record. In their last challenge, West End edged Susan Moore (Blountsville, AL), 15-0, in a league challenge.
