The Afton Eagles the visiting Caney Valley Trojans baseball team by a count of 7-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Porter for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 24. Afton will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Warner (Warner, OK). The Pirates record now stands at 9-3.
With the defeat, Caney Valley drops to 4-7 on the year. The Trojans host Oilton (Oilton, OK) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, March 23. The Panthers enter the bout with a record of 8-5. Oilton won 8-0 in their recent non-league bout against Coyle (Coyle, OK)
