The Akron Rams (Akron, CO) baseball smashed the visiting Simla Cubs (Simla, CO), 14-4 in Saturday's non-league contest.

With the triumph, Akron moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Rams host Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO) to confront the Cougars in a 2A Lower Platte contest on Tuesday, March 24. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 3-0. Sedgwick County won 13-11 in their recent non-league contest against Prairie (New Raymer, CO)

The Cubs now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Limon for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 24. Simla will face a Badgers team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Dayspring Christian Academy (Greeley, CO). The Badgers record now stands at 1-2.
