In Saturday's non-league bout, the Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) baseball squad overwhelmed the host Amory Panthers (Amory, MS), by a score of 17-1.
The Aggies now own a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mantachie for a 3A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 24. Kossuth will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 14-9 non-league loss to Mooreville (Mooreville, MS). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-10.
With the defeat, Amory drops to 12-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Houston (Houston, MS) to encounter the Hilltoppers in a 4A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, March 24.
